Remembrance Day, 11th November

“On November 1, 1914, 30,000 young Australians and New Zealanders departed from Albany in Western Australia on board a flotilla of ships bound for Egypt and the battlefields of the Great War.”

Six months later on April 25, 1915 that legend would be forged on the beaches and rocky hillsides of the Turkish coast at a place called Gallipoli.

April 25, 2015 is the ANZAC centenary.

Remember them always

Time waits for no one

Sadly . . . some of our most precious memories
suffer the ravages of time and neglect.
Renew and restore those photographs for our
children to view and reflect on their past.
These memories and lessons learned are invaluable
to our education and future.
